In October 2016, the B-litter in Kennel Hidaya was born from the mating between Dolce & Rio. The father, Rio (Nemoyo Wangu Amore Rio Reiser), is a grandson of Kianga (Manayakaya's foundation bitch), and the son of the great and unique Manayakaya Bayona 'Zuri' (Kianga's daughter from the B-litter - both dogs are owned by Alexandra Blaumann).
At that time ..... I can still remember exactly the message from Alex on 23.10. 2019 very early in the morning ... "I just got your girl ... No. 5, Miss Oranje - she will be yours!". I had a huge lump in my throat, because only a month before we had to let Kianga go. When Joyce made a firm commitment to me a few weeks later, tears of joy ran down my face - it was a great blessing to know that the circle would close again and that a great-granddaughter of Kianga would soon enrich our lives. After Christmas, the long wait came to an end and we drove the 2336 km from southern Spain to Velden (NL) and took Ambra in early 2017 home with us to Andalucia. At this point again a big thank you to Ambra's breeder, Joyce, for entrusting us with this wonderful dog, and also to Alex and Rio, without whom this great girl would not exist.
Ambra has since developed from a lively, energetic puppy to a very well-balanced, confident young female. She is a watchful and loyal companion. Ambra loves kids and being around them and she makes friends easily with other dogs and animals. Funnily enough (and from very early on!), she has been very talkative - if she is in disagreement with anything she will certainly make it clear and say so; in fact, almost anything is commented on by her! She has a hunting instinct, which can be managed very well. Ambra has a very strong will to please, and she likes to work. She has the best nature I could wish for: I can only describe her as being 'clear in the head', pure and honest - I can fully rely on her.
Ambra is a healthy, very elegant and yet strong bitch. Unfortunately, at the age of 6 months, she had an accident which resulted in a superficial injury to her shoulder, leaving a large scar. This was one of the reasons for me to decide against a show career with Ambra - instead, we prefer to go hiking and love our daily, extended walks on the beach and through the nature parks.
If all goes well, Ambra will become the mother of our C-litter in 2020.
We are very excited and are looking forward to all that the things yet to come!
